Home grown GA serves locally sourced breakfast and Southern cuisine in a retro country-diner décor. They use only organic, locally grown produce, including produce from their own garden, and through the use of other fresh ingredients they are able to make delicious, healthy meals. Owners Lisa Spooner, a former school teacher, and Kevin Clark, a renowned chef, opened their quaint restaurant to become a welcome bright spot in the community, brightening the landscape by providing everyone with amazing food in an comforting environment for an amazingly low price. Coming here for the first time you absolutely have to try their Comfy Chicken Biscuit, which is only $12. You can also grab half portions for half the price. Although the menu has many other amazing offerings, including their French Toast Sandwich, we couldn’t get enough of this biscuit. Their cheese grits are just as good as many main dishes they offer and their OJ is always freshly squeezed.
