The Story Hill BKC isn’t like your typical sports bar. In fact, it’s nothing like a sports bar; but being only a ten minute walk from Miller Park, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers, this restaurant, coffee shop and wine store may be the perfect place to check-out before the game. Located in Story Hill, an up-and-coming neighborhood on Milwaukee’s West side, this open and industrial style restaurant serves breakfast and coffee daily while offering weekend brunch and lunch, with dinner being served Tuesday through Saturday.

Since opening in 2014 Story Hill BKC has been one of the most successful restaurants in Milwaukee, winning the Certificate of Excellence from 2016 through 2019. Their food is Upper Midwest inspired, with fresh local ingredients being fused with global techniques. We definitely recommend stopping by for brunch before an early Milwaukee Brewers game. Their Loin Bacon Benny is a must try. Their house-cured and smoked loin bacon is delicious, and served with beefsteak tomato, savory French toast, poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce, a mixed greens salad and roasted marble potatoes, this meal is a home-run. The avocado toast at Story Hill BKC is also extremely popular and well put together. Although they may be most well known for their breakfast and fresh weekend brunch, Story Hill BKC offers amazing customizable dinners that are not to be forgotten. These large plates are designed in the spirit of “taste, pass and share”. This way you can try a little bit of everything while making a feast for the table to enjoy. If sharing isn’t your thing, we recommend ordering their BKC Burger. This half-pound burger patty is served on a Black Shoe Bakery seeded bun with an onion marmalade, jalapeño mayo, American cheese, and roasted marble potatoes and it is one of the best burgers in Milwaukee.

A large bar runs the length of the entire restaurant that offers more seating options to match the tables that are found throughout the dining space. This bar features eight craft cocktails on tap and it offers an ever-changing menu of custom creations, all based on Story Hill BKC’s current selection of artisanal spirits.
