Spoon and Stable is a hip restaurant located in the North Loop neighborhood of downtown Minneapolis. Spoon and Stable is set in an old horse stable that was built in 1906. Now the stylish space was built with incredible bones and unforgettable charm, being fun, inviting and comfortable to guests. The menu at Spoon and Stable is inspired by classic French cuisine, being focused on the seasonality of the Midwest and the roots of the local culture. James Beard award winning Chef Gavin Kaysen created a diverse menu full of outstanding dishes rich in flavor. There are five sections on the menu at Spoon and Stable – garden, chilled, grains & pasta, sea and land. We loved their raw oysters that come paired with a house-made hot sauce and red wine mignonette. Their Bison Tartare is another amazing way to start your meal. For a main course we highly recommend their Spice-Crusted Duck Breast. Paired with grilled beets and plum this dish is beyond flavorful.

The inventive dishes at Spoon and Stable are perfectly complemented by excellent drink offerings, with a large wine installation immediately grabbing your attention as you enter the restaurant. Their cocktail list is extensive and inspired as well. To top off your experience, the staff is all warm and welcoming.
