The Bay Beach Amusement Park dates back to 1892, when it was originally opened with a beach, dance hall and bar. Come 1901, the first roller coaster was built on the property. The park is situated right near the Fox River, in present day it contains 23 total rides, concessions, a roller coaster and a food pavilion. The pavilion hosts many different dances, movies and other events. The park is located right beside the beautiful Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and the municipality also has plans to potentially build a golf course right by the park.

In March of 2010, the Bay Beach Amusement Park purchased the almost one hundred year old Zippin Pippin wooden roller coaster from Memphis. The ride was actually well documented as Elvis Presley’s favorite ride at the Libertyland theme park. Where Elvis would rent out the entire park just so he and his friends could continuously ride the ride all night.

The other rides you can find at the Bay Beach Amusement Park are: The Sea Dragon, Falling Star, Bumper Cars, and the Big Wheel along with plenty of great concession stands. Uniquely, the park is actually free to enter though the rides require a purchase of tickets which is a carnival style.
