Chase Field, formerly Bank One Ballpark, is a baseball park located in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona and is the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise. The ballpark opened in 1998 when the Diamondbacks' inaugural game as an expansion team. Chase Field was also the first retractable roof stadium over a natural-grass playing surface, which was replaced by synthetic turf before the 2019 season. Even when the roof is closed, the park's windows allow enough sunlight to play in true daylight without overheating the stadium. Chase Field has held other events such as Professional Bull Riders, Monster Energy Supercross and Royal Rumble (WWE).
