The Fremont Street Experience is a 0.8 mile long pedestrian mall and attraction in the downtown core of Las Vegas. It sits on five blocks or Fermont Street, including the famous Glitter Gulch. The focal point of the Fairmont Street Experience is the vaulted neon canopy that sits 90 feet above the pedestrian surface and extends approximately 1,375 feet in length. There plenty of concerts and shows that are generally free and are held on one of the three stages along the Fremont Street Experience. The area also hosts the city’s annual New Year’s Eve party.

The main features of the Fremont Street Experience are the Viva Vision LED display “canopy”. The Canopy is held up by 16 columns that each weigh 26,000 pounds. The canopy is lit by more than 12 million LED lamps and also features 220 speakers to produce the sound, the Viva Vision screen produces light and sound shows nightly. The pedestrian mall is lined with many great shops and restaurants along with the following casinos: Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel, The D Las Vegas, Four Queens, Fremont Hotel and Casino, Golden Gate Hotel and Casino and the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.

The other main attraction within the Fremont Street Experience is the SlotZilla Zip Line, which is a 12-story tall slot machine inspired zip line. There are two zip lines you can choose from the first being the lower “Zipline” which is 77 feet up or you can ride the “Zoomline” which is 114 feet elevated. The Zipline travels half way through the Fairmont Street Experience pedestrian mall, while on the Zoomline it travels the entire mall roughly 1,750 ft. The launch tower features oversized dice, a martini glass, simulated slot reels, amongst many other famous Las Vegas sights.
