The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a Hall of Fame dedicated to the best country musicians in the country. Along with the Hall of Fame, there is also a 130,000 square foot museum that is home to one of the largest music collections in the entire world. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opened in 1964 and in current day attracts more than 1 million people per year that head down to Nashville and attend the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which is perfectly located in the heart of downtown.

The museum is home to more 2.5 million pieces that pertain to the history of country music, some of the museum’s collection includes: approximately 200,000 music recordings dating back to pre-World War II, several historical instruments, costumes and clothing worn by artists including a black suit from Johnny Cash. Vehicles with historical significance like Elvis’s 1960 Solid Gold Cadillac limousine, amongst many other key artifacts that the museum holds.
