Utah Olympic Park was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The venue hosted bobsleigh, Skeleton, luge, ski jumping, and Nordic combined events. The venue is located 28 miles east of the downtown core however even though it is a drive, it is worth the trip to see this Olympic venue when travelling to Salt Lake City. The venue still serves as a training center for athletes. The facilities have added things to do in summer and winter. The property offers a Winter Olympics and ski museum, Splash pool, ziplines and even a mountain coaster.
