Knott’s Berry Farm is a theme park that is located on 57-acres within Anaheim. Knott’s Berry Farm slogans itself as America’s 1st Theme Park, opening in 1920. The park is the 12th most visited theme park in North America, welcoming just over 4 million people each year. Knott’s Berry Farm is open year round and features 40 attractions, including 10 roller coasters and two water slides. In the late 90’s and early 2000’s the park went through a major overhaul and started to shift its focus to creating thrill rides in which it has done so.

Knott’s Berry Farm has four individually themed areas within its grounds. These include, Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, The Boardwalk and Camp Snoopy. Ghost Town has a pioneer age feel to it. Some of the more notable attractions in Ghost Town are the Calico River Rapids, Ghost Rider and Timber Mountain Log Ride. Fiesta Village was the second constructed area and featured a Mexican pop-culture theme to it. The area has some great restaurants along with notable attractions like, a 1955 Merry-Go-Round, La Revolucion and Montezooma’s Revenge.

The Boardwalk features many of the parks games like a rock wall, soccer, basketball and the famous rope ladder crawl that you see at most theme parks. Some of the notable attractions within the Boardwalk include, HangTime, Supreme Scream and Xcelerator. The final area of the park is Camp Snoopy, which is the park's family and children area. Within Camp Snoopy you will find many family rides and smaller scale roller coasters for children who cannot ride the larger ones.
