Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) is the largest airport within the state of Oklahoma and the most commonly used for tourists traveling to Oklahoma City. This international airport is one of the busiest in Oklahoma serving 4,419,119 passengers in 2019. 

Located just 6 miles southwest of Downtown Oklahoma City, it is quite easy to get to and from OKC. If you are flying in for a Thunder game be sure to leave your self-plenty of time, traffic around any major airport can be unpredictable and you don’t want to be late to the game!

Below are your best available options for how to get to Downtown Oklahoma City from OKC so you can start your sports getaway!

∙ Taxi: Taking a cab from the airport to downtown Oklahoma City may be your best bet in terms of convenience. Taxis from OKC are metered and generally cost anywhere from $35 - $45 USD, it is roughly a 15 - 20 minute drive, depending on traffic of course. Oklahoma City is serviced by many individual cab companies, which help make getting a cab an easy task.
